GET INVOLVED

Are you intrigued by the ethical and moral questions raised by Escape from Extinction? Would you like to learn more? Are you interested in supporting a robust public dialog about these issues and development of consensus-driven guidelines that can inform the work of geneticists and others?

I suggest that you explore The Hastings Center. The Hastings Center is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization of research scholars from multiple disciplines, including philosophy, law, political science, and education. Its scholars produce books, articles, and other publications on ethical questions in medicine, science, and technology that help inform policy, practice, and public understanding. Their goal is to ensure better understanding of what is at stake as changes in technology, medicine, and the environment reshape the landscape of human possibilities and, ultimately, to identify common ground from which solutions can emerge.
